Cascade Clamps - Cascade Manufacturing Company was established in Portland, Oregon in 1943. They began as a small machine shop at first hiring 4 individuals. Product sales for their initial year of operation totaled sixty thousand dollars. The very first recorded sales revenues involved the assembly and machining of stainless steel pipe fittings, valves and various parts. During five years of operation, the business had stretched to forty staff and their yearly sales volume had increased to $330,000. Nowadays, Cascade is among the top international producers within the material handling business.

Design and production of the company's first hydraulic cylinder allowed this young business to aggressively engage in new business opportunities. Throughout the last sixty years, the business of material handling has developed into a really complex area with Cascade proudly playing a part in its development. Cascade currently continues to develop as the leader provider of lift truck attachments and different associated products. In the 1950's, Cascade started designing, fabricating and selling hydraulic accessories. In 1964, the business altered its name to the Cascade Corporation. After that in 1965, the company went public with an initial offering of 200,000 shares of common stock. Since then the business has expanded its manufacturing services throughout the continental US to the places Warner Robins Georgia to go along with its already existing plants in Springfield, Ohio and Portland, Oregon. Cascade merchandise are manufactured internationally due to a lot of subsidiary operations. In the year 1944, a new facility was completed in Almere, the Netherlands which is Cascade's European headquarters. This facility is built to be the essential customer service centre.

Continuing to develop, Cascade expanded their product offering further in the year 1996 and the year 1997 with the impressive acquisition of 5 companies, together with the worldwide best in forks, the Kenhar Corporation.
